Since MUA (or a private contractor on their behalf) installed a mound of blacktop on our corner curb several weeks ago, there has been a curbside pond of standing water in front of 165 1/2, 167, 167 1/2, 169 and 169 1/2 Coles Street - regardless of weather conditions - unable to reach the dry sewer a few inches away. My neighbors and I have spoken to city workers representing the MUA, DPW and Quality of Life Division, who all agree something needs to be done by the city to allow the standing water to drain into the nearby sewer. A similar situation exists across the street.
