3633 Singleleaf Ln Raleigh, NC, 27616, USA - Raleigh Council District B
Tree is down on Mitchell Mill Road near the corner of Singleleaf lane. It is not blocking the sidewalk but it does make it difficult to see when existing Neuse Crossings subdivision.
  • Visual ObstructionRiconosciuto
Clark Ave Raleigh, NC, 27607, USA - Wade
Trees in the median have low-growing branches that impair crosswalk safety. Eastbound drivers cannot see southbound pedestrians and vice versa. I have had near-misses as both a driver and as a pedestrian. Trimming low branches, especially of the juniper, would dramatically improve the safety of this crossing.
  • Visual ObstructionRiconosciuto
Davis St & Oberlin Rd Raleigh, NC, 27608, USA - Wade
Difficulty viewing proper distance when pulling out of Davis St. Turning left onto Oberlin from Davis St. can be very difficult due to the lack of sight around the curve. Visual obstruction is incoming traffic from the right. Perhaps a mirror on the telephone pole adjacent of the intersection could help drivers see further down the road before pulling out.
  • Visual ObstructionRiconosciuto
7901 Litchford Road Raleigh, NC, 27615, USA - Raleigh Council District A
The trees on the West side of Litchford Rd when driving southbound towards the intersection of Gresham Lake Rd obstruct the view of the traffic light at Litchford/Gresham Lake
  • Visual ObstructionRiconosciuto
5436 Six Forks Rd Raleigh, NC, 27609, USA - Six Forks Corridor
This bush by the street completely obscures your view to the left. I didn't get a pic at the time so this is Google street view. You have to pull into the lane to be able to see oncoming traffic. So not exactly ideal.
  • Visual ObstructionRiconosciuto
6000 Glenwood Avenue Raleigh, NC, 27612, USA - Northwest
Pampas Grass significantly reduces visibility when turning onto Glenwood Ave from Holly Ridge.
  • Visual ObstructionRiconosciuto
3600 Brentwood Road Raleigh, NC, 27604, USA - Raleigh Council District B
A 6 ft tall fence appears to be under construction within right of way at intersection of Ingram and Brentwood. This would obstruct visibility approaching intersection.
  • Visual ObstructionRiconosciuto
2701-2799 Lynn Rd Raleigh, NC, 27612, USA - Northwest
Severely restricted view of oncoming traffic when entering Lynn Rd. from Battleford Dr. Several postings on here about same issue (Sep 4th, Sep 22nd, Oct 17th) and still no action. There was a person killed at this intersection this weekend 7 years ago as a result of a traffic accident. Does somebody else have to die before action is taken to trim some tree limbs?
  • Visual ObstructionRiconosciuto
1316 Glenwood Avenue Raleigh, NC, 27605, USA - Five Points

Corner of Glenwood Ave and Cole St has had 3 near head on collisions the past 2-3 months with cars existing Wade Ave / turning off of Cole St and turning left / right on to Glenwood Ave. The stop light is covered overhead with tree limbs as well as overgrowth on the side of Glenwood Ave. All wrecks have required ambulances on site. These were wrecks with only cars but this area is frequented by pedestrians walking throughout the day.

Cutting low limb and sidewalk overgrowth and adding additional signage to the road in advance of the light will help alert motorists going through the intersection.

  • Visual ObstructionRiconosciuto

Leaves piled in street too high making it hard to see anything - cars or pedestrians - when driving down the street. Safety issue.
