Christopher Columbus Dr & Washington St Jersey City, NJ, 07311, USA - The Waterfront
Washington St headed south by Whole Foods needs better pedestrian infrastructure. The are two travel lanes for cars, but drivers use the bus stop and the bike lane to jump the line and make illegal right turns on red. This endangers anyone walking and rolling at the intersection.

Can we get planters installed at the curb extension? Parks constantly park in them and it defeats the purpose of the extension, especially now with the destroyed bike parking that was acting as a pseudo bollard.

400-498 Christopher Columbus Dr Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
Columbus Drive near the turnpike overpass (especially westbound) is very dangerous, and cars often take this turn at very high speeds, drifting into adjacent lanes. Columbus is like a drag race strip sometimes. Not only is Ferris High School right there, but there have been several extreme car crashes at the site, including one fatal crash just last year.
Drivers really need to be slowed down somehow, either with a flashing signal, reduced car lanes, speed bump, or a well-designed intersection with the Academy Street extension on the JC master plan.
    Thanks, Tom

Jefferson Ave & Palisade Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - The Heights
Delineators repeated run over by Jersey City Workers and utility workers. Dirty, knocked over or missing. Eyesore for the community and a waste of taxpayer money.
  • 4th St & Erie St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown

Plastic striping damaged and not upright where cars are now parking right over them at this corner.

I tried to push it back up and bend it so it stays straight the other day however I was unable to. I think the actual plastic structure has completely failed. Can you please put in a request to have the one on 4th and Erie Street fixed and also the one on Erie Street and 4th Street. It is the same intersection but multiple plastic striping has been damaged. (These striping are to prevent cars from parallel parking too close to the corner impeding visibility for on-coming traffic and for motorists making turns onto the main road.)

731 Montgomery St Jersey City NJ 07306, United States - McGinley Square
This is Montgomery just east of Bergen. There used to be a protected bike lane here. But drivers and construction vehicles gradually demolished all the bollards separating the bike lane and now it is completely unrecognizable as a protected bike lane. Drivers are back to using it as parking (illegally anyway, as this is a bus stop and therefore not legal parking). The city should maintain the protected bike lanes they install.
